The challenge

The team wanted a platform to cut manual work so they could keep training up to date as the product line changed.

In a large enterprise sales organization, learning content has to do more than exist. It has to be modular, consistent, compatible with internal learning infrastructure, and easy to validate by subject matter experts before launch. Schneider Electric needed to turn existing content into structured courses for sales personnel, without rebuilding everything manually from scratch.

That’s when Schneider Electric started testing Evolve to see whether it could support their course production workflow.
  • Existing SCORM packages had to be updated for a vendor platform
Schneider Electric already had SCORM learning packages, but they needed to be updated to a version compatible with the vendor’s platform.
  • Training materials came in different formats
The team had learning assets in PowerPoint decks, PDFs, embedded videos, images, and other non-SCORM formats. The input materials were not standardized, but the output had to follow a specific course structure.
  • Sales training had to stay short, modular, and consistent
Some source materials were 50-60 slide decks, but each course had to fit into a 15-20 minute learning experience with a consistent flow: baseline assessment, core content, final assessment, and a short reinforcement summary.
  • "The input assets which we gave to Evolve were not standardized. It’s not like they would fit into a particular format. But the output we needed was in a particular format. Evolve was flexible in receiving whatever we gave them and converting it into a product which we would find useful"

The solution
With Evolve, Schneider Electric created and debugged 55+ courses for a learning platform focused on upskilling sales personnel
The courses covered:
  • Internal processes
  • Offers to customers
  • Sales techniques
  • Compliance and governance requirements
  • Core universal learning content for sales resources
L&D team
"Evolve was more flexible in terms of the requirements which we had for this particular task so that was one of the biggest advantage or strength of Evolve as I would say."

Each course followed the same learning structure:
Baseline assessment
Core content

Final assessment
Short summary video
For Schneider Electric, the value of Evolve was not only course creation. It was flexibility, speed of response, and the ability to work with non-standard input materials while still producing a standardized learning output.
  • 58 sales courses created and updated
Evolve helped Schneider Electric create, update, and debug 58 SCORM courses using both legacy packages and new training materials.
  • Flexible input, consistent output
PowerPoint decks, PDFs, videos, images, and legacy SCORM packages were transformed into standardized, structured learning modules.
  • Short, modular experiences
Long presentations were converted into focused 15–20 minute courses designed for effective sales enablement.
  • Easy course editing
Content could be updated and managed independently, without relying on technical resources.
L&D team
“The key is the responsiveness, the speed of response, and it’s a pretty intuitive platform. Of course, there’s always scope for further enhancements because technology keeps improving, but it’s a pretty intuitive and responsive platform and team.”
Schneider Electric
L&D team
“If I’m a user, it’s much easier for me to navigate and edit content by myself. I’m not dependent on a technical resource within Evolve to do those edits for me.”
